The prime minister hit his head in the fall and briefly lost consciousness. Consequently, he was taken to the hospital for a series of examinations which revealed no injuries. He was due to return home in the evening, his office said.
At this stage, this accident should not affect his program for next week. He will take advantage of this Sunday to rest.
