Monday followingnoon, emergency services received a call concerning a seriously injured person in Bourg-Léopold. There, they found a 35-year-old man. The latter, the partner of the arrested woman, was transferred to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The Limburg public prosecutor’s office announced on Tuesday that the man is now out of danger.
Although the exact circumstances are not yet known, the thirty-year-old appears to have been the victim of physical violence by his partner. The laboratory, the forensic doctor and the federal judicial police (PJF) went to the scene to make the necessary findings.
The Limburg public prosecutor’s office has asked an investigating judge to open a judicial investigation into attempted murder. The Kempenland police district and PJF Limburg are continuing the investigation.
