Breaking News: Israeli Strikes on Gaza – Death Toll and Ongoing Conflict Updates

2023-12-26 12:53:33

The Gaza Ministry of Health said on Tuesday that 20,915 people were killed and 54,918 were injured in Israeli strikes on Gaza since October 7.

The ministry added that 241 Palestinians were killed and 382 injured during the past 24 hours.

The war in Gaza continues at a strong pace, claiming the lives of hundreds of Palestinians every day, while large losses are recorded among the ranks of the Israeli army.

While there are reports of regional and international efforts to reach a truce that would pave the way for the exchange of detainees and prisoners, the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements affirm their rejection of any temporary cessation of the war and their adherence to a comprehensive ceasefire and a return to the conditions before October 7.

But Israel rejects this proposal and confirms that it will continue with the war until the Hamas movement is eliminated and the detainees are returned by force.
