The police forces imposed a security cordon around the site of the charring of a refrigerator car on El Batal Ahmed Abdel Aziz Street in Dokki, in the center of Giza.
A security source explained the reason by saying, “Because the gas cylinder did not explode, like the incident of the Middle East microbus,” referring to the explosion of a gas-powered microbus yesterday, which resulted in 8 charred bodies and two injured.
The official of the Civil Protection Operations Room in Giza received a signal from the Rescue Police Department that a fire had broken out at the signal of Abdel Moneim Riyad, the domain of the Agouza neighborhood.
Major General Jaber Bahaa, Director of the General Administration of Civil Protection in Giza, sent two fire engines, led by his deputy, in coordination with the department warden and the middle division inspector.
In the initial examination, it was found that a refrigerator car collided with a kiosk at the signal of Abdel Moneim Riyad Street, from the hero Ahmed Abdel Aziz, and it was completely ignited, and the civil defense men surrounded the fire and put out the fire without injuries, while carrying out the cooling process.
