Breaking News: Contract Negotiations for Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, and Adam Hangman Page at All Elite Wrestling

2023-06-15 07:00:00

It has been mentioned in recent days that the contracts for several big stars are coming to an end soon as they all signed at the same time practically when the company was founded in 2019. We are talking about Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks and Adam Hangman Page who will soon be expiring in their deals with All Elite Wrestling.

It’s not 100% known when their contract will end exactly, but early 2024 would be the key time bearing in mind the possibility that additional months have been added due to injury, and or furlough.

Fightful took stock today on the subject and we learn that the negotiations are almost over for the main parties concerned.

No new contract has yet to be officially signed, but talks are positive and Tony Khan’s company would currently be able to retain all of its Elite members.

New contracts that would come with a significant salary increase in the face of the prestige of these wrestlers. Encouraging news since the future of the Young Bucks, Omega and Page could be shaken with the return of CM Punk to AEW, but it seems that all is well on this side.

We also learn that WWE would be interested in acquiring these four wrestlers if they became available, which would be surprising, according to Fightful because AEW is doing everything to keep them.

Reminder that WWE must wait for talents to be free agents before being able to enter into negotiations with them, the same for wrestlers who must wait until the end of their contract to offer their services to other federations, in order not to be accused of raiding.

The Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson and Adam Page signing file remains to be watched.
