A fire broke out this morning in a building located on chaussée Solvay in Couillet. There would be no injuries.
Thick black smoke emanated from it and was visible for several kilometres. These fumes are potentially toxic. The firefighters, present on the spot, recommend to the inhabitants of the surroundings to stay at home, windows and doors closed.
2 pumpers and 3 tanks are present on site. A pump will be installed to draw water from the Sambre.
