First flight outside China for the C919

A medium-haul aircraft to compete with Airbus’ A320neo and Boeing’s 737MAX, the C919 from Chinese state-owned Comac made its first flight outside China this week. The plane didn’t fly far since it landed… in Hong Kong. The C919 made its maiden flight last May. The device, which has a range of more than 5,500 kilometers, has so far been ordered in 1,061 units.

The Paris-Berlin night train is in service

Tuesday December 12, the night train line between Paris and Berlin was put into service. Operated by the Austrian company ÖBB, it offers six trips per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Paris and the other days, except Sunday, from Berlin. Tesla presents Optimus Gen 2, its new humanoid robot

EDF installs the dome of one of the Hinkley point C reactors

This is a symbolic step on the EPR reactor site of the Hinkley Point C project, in the United Kingdom.
