Kottarakkara ∙ ‘Sir, someone is trying to kill me. If I don’t come soon, they will kill me’- the continuous phone calls to 112 number brought the police to Sandeep’s house near Kudavattur Cherukarakonam, said SI R. Babymohan of Puyapally police station.

‘The call was received at one o’clock in the night. Sandeep’s phone was switched off when he reached the premises of the house in a rush. Confused not knowing where to go. Then the phone rang once more at 4 am. When the police vehicle arrived, Sandeep was standing on the doorstep of someone else’s house holding a stick. The leg is cut and bleeding. Locals and some relatives around. Sandeep’s request was to take him to the police station. He took the stick from his hand and threw it away. A body search was conducted and it was confirmed that there were no other weapons. 2 neighbors were taken to Kottarakkara taluk hospital in a police jeep. Behaved like a pauper. After reaching the hospital, his behavior changed’ – Babymohan said.

Baby Mohan narrowly escaped. Even though he was stabbed, the horse turned away. He tripped and got injured. Baby Mohan is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kottarakkara.
