The American government recently announced that it has recorded more than 650 UFO sightings since its establishment last year. The phenomena, which are generally categorized as unidentified flying objects, are currently under investigation.
Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the Pentagon’s Anomalies Office (AARO), spoke more regarding the case. Earlier, during the year 2023, one came to light intelligence reportin which 350 phenomena were mentioned – compared to this, their number has now almost doubled.

“Roughly half of the 650 or so cases have a higher priority. In relation to these, we have to decide, “do we really have reliable information?”the man explained.
Kirkpatrick told the Legislature that his office greatly assists the Pentagon and the Intelligence Community in identifying alien technologies. For example, in February of this year, AARO also identified the Chinese spy balloon that flew into American airspace.
As an illustration, he also presented 2 videos of phenomena that were investigated by the competent authorities – one was actually called a UFO, while the other was branded as fake.
The first shot shows a small, planet-like shape flying towards an MQ-9 drone. The drone’s camera then followed the path of the object across the sky and suddenly it disappeared. This case remains unsolved as no other information is available in connection with it other than the ominous video.
In the second video, a flying object flew past 2 MQ-9 combat drones and one of them managed to record the way it passed, leaving behind a glowing plume. Later, following taking a closer look at the frames, it turned out that a passenger plane caused the apparition.
At the same time, the head of the AARO department revealed that so far no credible evidence has been found to prove the existence of UFOs. He also mentioned that in a small percentage of cases it happens that foreign instruments cause the confusion, but there is no need to fear hostile offensives.
More recently, the USA has thrown itself into UFO research in an extraordinary way. According to the National Defense Authorization Act of 2023, no less than 817 billion dollars will be allocated for this purpose.
