It is therefore a few hours from Forbidden Door, that the endearing Tony Khan announces to us that the fight between Cole and Tom Lawlor is canceled due to an illness contracted by the former NXT champion.
No replacement fight has yet been announced.
Here’s what Tony had to say:
“Due to illness, Adam Cole is not allowed in the ring tonight, so his match once morest Tom Lawlor is cancelled.
Despite the changes, tonight’s show promises to be great.”
We do not yet know if this is the real reason but no one doubts the legendary sincerity of Khan for the moment. We will know more during the week.
