Breaking into the American Market: The Journey of Ballbecue

2023-12-22 03:23:18

After a year of intensive research and negotiation, the Ballbecue company from Magog, which develops football barbecues, is getting closer to its dream of breaking into the American market.

An American denturist who is a big football fan has just invested in the company to grow.

According to their business plan, the partners plan to inject more than $2 million to maintain research and development in Magog. By 2025, production should take place in the United States with the construction of a factory. The project is estimated to cost nearly $10 million.

“If we want to play in the big leagues, we have to have the means to achieve our ambitions,” believes the president and CEO of the Barbec company, which is behind Ballbecue, Stephan Genest.

“I think he’s working on something good. I believe people will like the product which is unique. There is nothing similar on the market. The best part regarding this product is that it is focused on sports, on football. It adds sentimental value,” added Dr. Ramesh Sunar, Mr. Genest’s new partner.

Next January, Stephan Genest will return to Las Vegas to the Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show, an event that brings together several sports leagues. By next fall, the team wants to produce 10,000 Ballbecues.
