Cowboys worried regarding Odell Beckham’s physical condition
Lost amidst all the rumors regarding his future was the health of Odell Beckham (WR). The receiver still tore his anterior cruciate ligament in February. And on the Dallas side, it’s not a detail.
According to ESPN, the Cowboys are worried regarding the player’s recovery progress and fear he won’t be able to play until mid-January. The leaders even fear that the player cannot really help before the 2023 season.
On 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday, Jerry Jones explained that it was important that Beckham might help this season to get him signed. The player has met the leaders of the franchise, he even attended an NBA game with a few players, but nothing seems to have been done yet.
Sean Payton won’t be away from the pitch for long
Little confidences between legends. Guest of Tom Brady’s podcast, Sean Payton explained that he intends to return to coaching. And obviously, in not that long.
“I think it will happen quite quickly. I really like the job I have now (TV consultant, editor’s note)… But I think I know I want to coach once more, and it’s not really a secret. But I want to find the right place. […] If not this year, hopefully next year. »
As a reminder, Payton is still under contract with the Saints, and a team that wants him will therefore have to set up a trade with New Orleans to recover him.

Mark Ingram : « Je m’excuse »
The contrast is great in New Orleans. While the Saints were in the light, the Pelicans are starting to take it by making a great start to the season. On Monday, the Saints had the game in hand in Tampa Bay before collapsing in the final minutes, giving victory to Tom Brady and his team. An action marked the end of the game: Mark Ingram’s touchdown on a second attempt and 8 yards. Ingram catches the pass, has a free field … but goes out for a gain of 7 yards! This mistake precipitated the downfall of the Saints. On Twitter, the running back apologized.
I’m sick of that one. Regardless of the circumstances or how I feel, I have to get this new set of attempts for the team. I apologize to my teammates, my coaches and my city for a crucial mistake. We work far too hard and sacrifice blood, sweat and tears. I would be better.
Finally, this action is a reflection of the season of the Saints who missed far too many opportunities to be active in the standings. As they say, can’t wait for this to end.
Brian Gutekunst: ‘We’ll talk to Aaron Rodgers following the season’
It’s going to start being the soap opera once more in the upcoming offseason: Where will Aaron Rodgers star? So certainly, his contract runs until 2025 but the question will still arise concerning the future of Rodgers within the Green Bay franchise. If intentions to stay are there between the franchise and the player, general manager Brian Gutekunst announced that it would be an offseason decision and that the franchise wants to see all of its players return.
It’s definitely kind of an offseason decision but we want all of our guys back. We made a big commitment to him last offseason so that was something that was really important to us. But as we’ve talked regarding in the past, it’s something we’re going to sit down with him following the season and it’s going to be something we do together and move forward that way.
Knowing that the check is 60 million guaranteed next season, it looks complicated to see Rodgers in another jersey than the Packers next season.
