I feel the need to think regarding Ms. Dores Beckord-Datterl for her very apt letter to the editor in the SN of August 24, 2023. He speaks to my soul. How can this spiral of ruthlessness and crass selfishness be broken? For example Mother Teresa in Calcutta or Mahatma Gandhi showed the world what selflessness can do – to make the impossible possible!
