Brazil national team Gabriel Jesus is moving to Arsenal from Manchester City in the English Premier League (EPL).

British media BBC reported that on the morning of the 29th (Korean time), Jesus arrived at Arsenal for a medical test. Jesus left Brazil in January 2017 for Manchester City and made 159 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 58 goals and providing 29 assists.

The transfer fee Arsenal pays is £45 million (about KRW 71 billion), and the contract is until June 2027. Arsenal did not have a ‘goalkeeper’, so they recruited Jesus and strengthened their attack power.

Jesus is a gold medal member at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, and scored the last goal in a 5-1 victory over the Korean national team at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 2nd.

Born in the slums of São Paulo, Jesus earned pocket money by painting as a child, but now he is loved by fans as the world’s strongest Brazil national team.
