The most recent Game Brasil Survey revealed that almost 75% of people claim to play regularly, and this is not by chance. In addition to traditional desktop and portable consoles, a new way to access games has been revolutionizing the industry: game streaming. This type of service, still new to many people, is capable of bursting the niche bubble and growing to a still unexplored portion of the public, bringing advantages such as better cost-effectiveness for players, who no longer need to purchase a console to play .

Available in Brazil since 2021, the online transmission of electronic games with quality and responsive controls facilitates the contact of all types of players with the games, even those less experienced or familiar with this universe. The technology, intuitive and easily accessible, allows users to play online, without the need to download and worry regarding storage, all directly from the cloud. In addition, the partnerships of the streaming platforms with the biggest players in the industry, such as Xbox and Nvidia (already available in the country), make the best titles on the market available, including classics and major releases.

For brands, the popularization of this new technology can only bring good results, since, among consumers, the availability of a game streaming service should become one of the main motivators when choosing a new TV model in the next years. To give you an idea, there are already 31.7 million paying users of cloud gaming services in the world who, together, spent regarding 2.4 billion dollars. By 2025, the expectation is that the metrics will grow to 86.9 million paying users, with a sum of 8.2 billion dollars, according to an estimate by the Newzoo institute in 2022.
