More than 200 soldiers from the Army de Brasil will participaten in exercise CORE 22 (Combined Operations and Rotation Exercises) at Fort Polk, Louisiana, in the United States, between August 4 and September 6 from 2022.
Troops of the 12.ª Light Infantry Brigade (Airmobile), of the Army Brazilian, andl Combat Team the 3.101st Brigade.th Airborne Division, of the US ArmyE. UU.will share experiences, in addition to exchanging knowledge regarding defense doctrine, techniques, tactics and procedures.
CORE 22 is the result of a cooperation program signed between Brazil and los EE. UU.what provides annual bilateral exercises until 2028, promoting interoperability between the two armies.
The exercise also intends to contribute to the improvement of the Operational Preparation System of the Land Forces (SISPRON) and the training of the Preparation Forces (FORPRON), certifying the Brazilian Army troops for international operations.
CORE 21
in 2021 The exercise took place in Brazilian territory, in the cities of Lorraine (Are Paulo), Cachoeira Paulista (Sao Paulo) and Resende (Rlo of Janeiro).
Led by a working group of 5.th Light Infantry Battalion (5.º BIL), the CORE 21 included the participation of a Company of Marines from 101.Army Airborne Division los EE. UU.
There were approximately 990 military; 750 Brazilians and 240 Americans.
