O ccalendar of fairs and events of the Ministry of Tourism estimates that in 2023 around 985 business exhibitions will be held in the country. São Paulo is the leader in number of fairs. The state will host more than half of the total number of events, around 483. This adhesion occurs because companies see the business fairs as an opportunity to strengthen their relationship with customers and prospect new business.

The Apas Show, which takes place from May 15th to 18th, at Expo Center Norte, will feature more than 800 companies that supply products and services to supermarkets. The expectation is to surpass last year’s numbers. Last year’s edition received more than 111 thousand visitors and generated 30 million reais in business.

For some companies, Apas completes a cycle of participation in other events. “This year alone, we participated in three fairs. We were at Feicon, in the construction materials sector, at Expoelétrica, focused on the electrical materials market, and now we are at the Apas Show”, explains Patrícia Lima, commercial director of Elgin’s consumer goods line. She adds that the company has products that are sold at points of sale in different retail sectors, which is why it is important to be present at various events.
