MC Livinho, a popular funk artist with more than 13 million followers on Instagram, interrupted the live news broadcast as journalist Isabela Campos reported on the horrific beating.
Despite the people behind the camera clearly beckoning him to stop, Livinho continued to dance behind the reporter, apparently oblivious to the unfolding tragedy.
The accident, which occurred on Saturday in Pirai, an area south of Rio de Janeiro, claimed the lives of three athletes from the Curitiba Crocodiles, an American football team that competes in a league of Brazil.
The bus, carrying 43 passengers and two drivers, overturned while descending a dangerous section of the Via Dutra highway.
Shocking images published by Brazilian media show the bus on its side with several panels broken.
Three players died and have been identified as Daniel Santos, 44, Lucas Barros, 19, and Lucas Padilla, 42.
A further 12 passengers were injured, including 19-year-old Doria Fadel, who remains in hospital with a serious back injury.
Authorities have confirmed that none of the bus drivers had been drinking and are continuing to investigate the fatal incident.
Meanwhile, MC Livinho’s behavior at the scene of the crash has sparked outrage across Brazil, with thousands of social media users condemning the singer’s actions.

Another commented: “If there’s a news crew, traffic jams and emergency vehicles, something serious has happened. Totally clueless.
