Brazil ended the year 2023 with the average mobile internet download speed of 52,26 Mbps, while upload was 12.75 Mbps. The data is from the most recent report of performance of the country’s mobile networks from Speedtest by Ookla.
For comparison, in December 2022, the Average mobile internet download speed in Brazil was 36.07 Mbps, while upload was 11.12 Mbps. Therefore, in 12 months, there was an increase in 44.88% and 14.66%, respectively.
Still according to data from the Ookla, nThere was no statistically faster mobile network in Brazil during the fourth quarter of 2023. Operators Vivo e TIM were tied, recording 49.63 Mbps and 49.42 Mbps, respectively.
