One of the members of ‘Los Escachaitos’, a family from the Foraquira village of the municipality of Jenesano, Boyacá, announced in January of this year their plan to go live in the United States, following a process that took two years. Brayan Galindo, the oldest of 4 brothers, to obtain the visa.
This news took his more than 5 million followers on Tiktok and 2 million on Instagram by surprise, who wished him a good trip for his project of studying Digital Marketing and learning English.
“I want to tell you that two years ago I made the decision to apply for a visa to go live in the United States. So, well, I had never talked to them regarding this, because I didn’t know if they were going to give it to me or not; But a month ago they gave me the visa,” she said at the time through a video on Facebook.
Recently, Brayan was the subject of controversy for her relationship with Joe MacGlawn, a man much older than him, whom she also already married. Reason why some followers questioned him, speculating that he had only done it for the visa.
“It is very ugly that people try to destroy people who have done nothing; The truth is I know that they do those things to harm. Without a doubt the person who started doing this wanted to destroy; At first I didn’t want to go on TikTok because there is a lot of crap, I didn’t want to let myself be affected by that,” he stated through his Tiktok account.
Brayan from ‘Los Escachaitos’ told how he works to live in the United States
Since Brayan Galindo migrated to the United States, he has not left social networks to show his daily life.
Currently, he says that he lives in a modest house, which he tries to keep clean just as he has always liked. “I clean the house five times a week, the house is not that big, it only has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and the living room. Since I really like cleaning, it takes me very little time to clean it.”
It is precisely thanks to this dedication that neighbors have hired him to tidy up the garden or the interior of their homes, whether sweeping, washing dishes, making beds, etc.

Also, he cleans swimming pools, mows the grass, cleans bathrooms, carpentry and other various jobs to support himself financially and manage to raise $1,300 monthly for rent with services, food and buses to go to school where he learns English.
His dedication has been such that he was able to save for a gift to send to his sister, Diana Galindo.
