From the first day in San Joaquín, both young and experienced pitchers continue to warm up and show their arsenal, facing the 2024-2025 season, among them the experienced left-hander Dédgar Jiménez, who this year will experience his first season as a brave player in Margarita .

Jimenez’s words

“I come willing to contribute my grain of sand, I have been working on my physique, strengthening my arm, to continue fulfilling my role, in whatever they need me to do and look for that championship that we want so much,” said the native of the Portuguesa state.

For his part, Luis Torres comes from an outstanding campaign with the Líderes de Miranda uniform, in the Major League of Professional Baseball (LMBP).

“In the Major League this year I had a new challenge, I was working as a closer, and here we are ready for whatever the manager needs, regardless of the role I play, I will always be available,” he made clear.

Torres did not hide his joy for the team’s return home, it will also be his first experience in front of the island public. “We are very happy with our return to the island and our expectation is to give a good show to the Margarita fans and do a good job, for that we are preparing very well in this preseason.”

Leal spoke

Meanwhile, Werner Leal also expressed his great enthusiasm for what, in his case, will be his reunion with the neo-Spartan fans.

“It means something very big, because we are going to be very motivated playing at home, giving everything day by day, for the joy of the fans and achieving the great goal, which is the championship.”

These experienced brave arms also spoke of the great work that the young pitchers have been doing, who are fighting for their position and demonstrating their talent.

”We all look very good, we come prepared this year. There is both experience and young, very good and powerful arms, which are going to help us a lot to achieve what we want,” said Jiménez.

Leal added: “I see them very motivated since we arrived at training, always working, doing their physics, working on their mechanics, they come willing to compete for their place on the roster and I see them in good spirits. That motivation also helps us to move forward,” he concluded.
