Reorganization proceedings were opened on the assets of Reumüller&Kazt GmbH, which runs the Tafelspitz and Nudelkuchl restaurant on Braunau’s town square, on Wednesday for the second time since 2010. According to the creditor protection agency KSV, 27 creditors and eight employees are affected. The liabilities therefore amount to 483,000 euros. This is offset by assets of around 101,000 euros. A continuation of the catering business is planned.
The restaurant has been around since 1997. After the first bankruptcy, the renovation was successful. The reasons given for the insolvency are the corona pandemic, the increases in energy costs over the past two years and the failure to pay out the energy cost subsidy II. The creditors should receive a quota of 20 percent within two years. The restructuring plan will be voted on on July 31st.
