Last year, AvtoVAZ received from Renault the CMF-B platform, which allows you to create different types of cars. On this basis, the Volga Automobile Plant plans to develop several new models. These include the new cross-coupe VAZ-2115 “Muza” 2024. Independent designer of the automotive portal “naavtotrasse.ru” presented his vision of this car, which can become a competitor for European and Korean crossovers.
The revived VAZ-2115, as conceived by the author of the renderings, will receive compact dimensions and a coupe-like body. The car can be offered with both full and front-wheel drive. To reduce the cost of production, AvtoVAZ will most likely use its 1.6-liter non-turbo engines. At first, the novelty will be available only with a 5-speed manual transmission, but later an automatic transmission from a Chinese partner will appear, negotiations on this matter are already underway.
VAZ Muza will become one of the models of its new family, which AvtoVAZ is developing on the CMF-B platform. Another such model will be the new Lada Niva, which will also receive four-wheel drive and French architecture. Its development has also allegedly already begun. As for the new cross-coupe, judging by the renders, it will even be somewhat similar to the Renault Arkana, which is not surprising.
It is assumed that the cross-coupe VAZ-2115 “Muse” 2024 will cost from 1.5 to 1.7 million rubles. This will make the car very competitive in the market, even once morest the backdrop of inexpensive Chinese offers. And reliable Russian-French technology will be an indisputable plus in comparison with the same “Chinese”. Sales of the car might not begin until the second half of next year, if AvtoVAZ started designing the model now.
