Peoria Ill.- The Women’s Golf team has released its 2024-25 schedule, highlighted by the continuation of the Bradley Coyote Creek Classic, where the braves will look to defend their tittle.
Bradley kicks off their campaign on September 1st and 2nd in Kewadin, Michigan, for the A-Ga-Ming Invitational hosted by Central Michigan, in which the team finished 3rd last year. The Braves will travel to Bloomington for the Redbird Invitational at the Weibring Golf Club on September 8th and 9th. The team will aim to defend its title from the previous season. To end the month of September, the team will travel to Columbia, Missouri, for the Johnie Imes Invitational. Kicking off the month of October, the Braves will look to defend their title in the annual Bradley Coyote Creek Classic, which is held at the Coyote Creek Golf Course. At the end of the month, the team will travel back to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, for the Diamante Intercollegiate, hosted by Little Rock.
In the spring of the new year, the Braves will compete in the Rio Verde Invitational hosted by Western Michigan on February 21st through 23rd. In the month of March, the Braves will compete in two new events for the program. The Spring Break Shootout will take place on the 17th and 18th at the Lake Jonita Golf Club and the Pinetree Women’s Collegiate, hosted by Kennesaw State, on the 24th and 25th. To wrap up the regular season, Bradley will return to the Colonel Classic on April 7th and 8th. The Braves finished second in the contest last season. In postseason play, the women’s golf team will compete in the MVC Championship in St. Louis, Missouri, on the 13th through the 15th.
“This season’s schedule provides a great opportunity for our team to compete across the country in a mix of familiar and new events! Our fall season kicks off with the same two events in back-to-back weeks with a chance to defend our title at Illinois State. We return to Mizzou after a year off and host again at home on October 6th & 7th before making the trip to Little Rock to wrap up our fall. Our spring season starts back in Arizona before two new events in Florida and Georgia in March! We wrap up our regular season at Eastern Kentucky before the MVC Championship in St. Louis. This schedule provides a great test of golf in different conditions and against a variety of schools to prepare for postseason play,” said head coach Halley Morell.
