While Bradesco extended support to brands Visa e How much in 2018 and 2019, respectively, it was expected, at the end of 2020, that Mastercard would finally be contemplated — even following Banco do Brasil started to support the addition of Ourocard cards with the brand in Apple Pay.

In 2021, Bradesco, in addition to affirming to the MacMagazine that Bradesco’s AMEX cards would gain support for Apple’s payment system, it was also said that Mastercard cards would become compatible with Apple Pay that year. The first ones were contemplated last year, but this did not happen with Mastercard cards, regarding which little was known until now.

With today’s news, the only thing missing to make the list of Bradesco cards compatible with Apple Pay really complete is the inclusion of those called Bradescard, which are basically those issued in partnership with stores, such as the new Amazon credit card.
