They were the Hollywood dream couple, but their love ended in a war of roses. Angelina Jolie (46) and Brad Pitt (58) have been arguing in court for almost six years. The main issue is the custody of their underage children.
Last week, the two-time Oscar winner was awarded joint custody by a judge, but Jolie still does not want to accept this. The actress is only satisfied when she has sole custody of the children who are still minors.
No contact with adopted sons
“Bild” quotes an insider who unpacks how Pitt’s relationship with his children really is. “Brad accepts responsibility for many of the things that led to the end of the marriage, but he blames Angie for keeping him away from his children.”
The relationship with his adopted children Maddox (20), Pax (18) and Zahara (17) is particularly strained. ‘He never saw Maddox or Pax at all. You really don’t want anything to do with him.” And Zahara? “She’s 100 percent Team Angie – she’s a mommy-child and no longer has a good connection with Brad.”
Shiloh ignores his calls
Pitt’s biological children Shiloh (15) and the twins Knox and Vivienne (13) no longer want to have much to do with their dad. The twins take his calls, which daughter Shiloh no longer seems to do.
The Brangelina insider reveals: “She neither calls him back nor answers his text messages. The reason is pressure from Angie. She’s afraid that Shiloh, who is so like her father, might side with Brad.”
It is said that there has not been a joint meeting with all six children for five years. It seems like that won’t change in the near future. “The more time goes by, the less hope he has.” (fmu)
