Robert Beijer, alias Bob, is a name that comes up very often when we talk regarding the Brabant Killers. Several times suspected and auditioned, he was always released in stride, for lack of evidence. Since the start of the affair, he has denied his involvement.
In 1989, Belgium had requested his extradition for a whole series of serious facts related in particular to the killings. Since then, these charges have been declared groundless. He is a former gendarme of the BSR and ex-private detective. A moment suspected of being linked to the Brabant killings before being completely exonerated, he had already been arrested in Bangkok. In 2021, he explained for the DH that he had rebuilt his life in Thailand. He works there on behalf of a computer firm.
