Bpost has signed an agreement to acquire Staci, a European logistics specialist, it announced on Friday evening. To acquire 100% of the company’s shares, it will be necessary to pay 1.3 billion euros.

The French company Staci specializes in tailor-made logistics and multi-channel distribution for businesses. Its clients are particularly active in the beauty and health sectors, telecommunications, retail, food and beverages, etc. It has more than 80 warehouses in Asia, Benelux, France and Germany. , in Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States and employs 3,500 people. Last year, the company achieved a turnover of 771 million euros.
If the bpost offer is validated, “it is expected that the management team and all Staci staff members will remain on board“, we specify. The current CEO of Staci, Thomas Mortier, would then become a member of the bpostgroup executive committee and would manage the new 3PL business unit.
