Islamabad: Social media with campaigns to boycott US-Israeli brands in Pakistan. Following the campaigns, there has been a record decline in the sales of products of pro-Israel companies in Pakistan in recent days.

Public sentiment in Pakistan once morest Israeli-American companies and brands is intensifying in the wake of the Israeli military offensive in Gaza, Press TV reported.

Social media campaigns have been launched in Pakistan calling for a boycott of international brands such as McDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Coke and Pepsi.

“To demonstrate our support for the Palestinians, we can ban products from companies that directly or indirectly support Israel. We can show solidarity with the Palestinians by refusing to buy products from companies that support Israel.

Let us unite to face this humanitarian crisis and send a strong message by boycotting companies that contribute to the suffering of Palestinians. I appeal to people around the world to rise above religious or national differences and stand together in the name of humanity by boycotting pro-Israeli-American companies,”
A Pakistani shopkeeper told Press TV.

“We have noticed a significant drop in sales of US and Israeli products since the boycott campaign began.

Consumers increasingly avoid products associated with the United States or Israel.

This is affecting our business. The boycott hit us hard. People are no longer buying their products. They prefer local products,’ said Jafar Ali Shah, a member of the Islamabad Traders Union.

Mohammad Mudazir Tipu, Pakistan’s ambassador to Tehran, said that the Israeli government’s action once morest the citizens of the Gaza Strip is indiscriminate, once morest all decency and violates international law.
