The Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, Representative George Boshkian, wished the Armenian communities a Merry Christmas, wishing peace in the hearts and the flow of goodness in the homes.
He said, “Lebanon is distinguished for being the land of holiness, with its large family gathered together in diversity and solidarity, and the unity of the situation between its two wings, the resident and the expatriate. Our people are a fighter who does not give up. They derive their strength and steadfastness from their firm faith, which gives them determination to progress.”
He concluded, “I join my Armenian brothers and friends in Christmas, wishing them and all Lebanese days of joy, intimacy, stability, and a welcome to the new year with health, success, and fulfillment of hopes, and that our homeland will go on the path of recovery.”
