Boston now leads 3-0 in its series once morest Brooklyn following winning at the Nets on Saturday. For their part, Utah and Minnesota come back to 2-2 once morest Dallas and Memphis respectively following their victory at home.

Favorite for the title last fall, Brooklyn is now on the verge of elimination in the first round of the play-offs! The Nets are indeed led 3-0 by Boston, following their home defeat 103-109 in Game 3. The Celtics, carried by their trio Jayson Tatum (39) – Jaylen Brown (23pts) – Marcus Smart (14pts), led from the eighth to the last minute in this encounter and once more put up a defense that made Steve Nash’s players suffer martyrdom. The Nets have indeed lost no less than 21 balls (6 interceptions for Tatum), which offered 37 points to the Celtics. Kevin Durant, considered the best forward in the world, might only take 11 shots in 46 minutes, for 16 points in total. Kyrie Irving (17 shots but 0 of 7 at 3pts) also finished with 16 points, while Bruce Brown increased his personal counter to 26. Even if they were dominated, the Nets managed to come back in the wake of Boston several times (-1 just before halftime, -3 at the end of the third quarter, -4 in the middle of the last quarter), but the C’s never panicked, and they now have nine toes in the second round. They might even conclude the series on Monday, still in Brooklyn, which would be a huge snub for the Nets. Ben Simmons might also make his debut in the black jersey during this Match 4.
