A nine-year-old girl has been stabbed to death in England. Two people were arrested in connection with the crime in the city of Boston in the east of the country, according to the Lincolnshire police on Friday.
Residents and politicians were shocked. A 9-year-old was killed on the street. The police arrested two suspects. The authority did not provide any further information regarding the sex and age of the suspects or the circumstances. The child was found on a quiet street in the city center early Thursday evening. The family is being looked following psychologically, it said.

Boston: Knife violence widespread
The port city of Boston was the place with the highest number of murders and attempted murders per 100,000 inhabitants in England and Wales in 2016. Knife violence is rampant in the UK. Over the weekend, three people were stabbed to death in different crimes in London alone, as well as one person in the southern English city of Southampton. Often it is regarding violence among teenagers. Recently, the case of twelve-year-old Ava caused a stir. A 14-year-old boy at the time of the crime stabbed the girl in the neck in November 2021 in Liverpool city center over a Snapchat video. In many cases, gang crime or drugs play a role.
