Boston adds and continues. The men’s fashion company, owned by Mayoral, has increased its turnover by 65% during the first five months of the year, driven by new openings. During the period, the company has already opened three stores and plans to reach ten stores by the end of the year, as explained by José María Gil, director of expansion, to Modaes.
Boston’s goal, which continues to maintain expectations of billing fifteen million euros at the end of the year, is to double your sales in the next two or three years. To achieve its goal, the men’s fashion company is immersed in a retail expansion strategy that involves opening around ten stores each year.
This year, Boston has opened three new outlets. Specific, the company has landed on calle Sierpes in Seville, one of the main commercial routes of the city. In the Jaén Plaza shopping center, in Jaén, and in the Garbera shopping complex in San Sebastián. For the next few months, the company plans to open two new stores in Pamplona and Bilbao.

“We want to continue opening in Spain while consolidating ourselves in the locations where we already operate”, added the director of expansion. Boston, which does not operate in other markets, has rejected the idea of going abroad in the coming years and reaffirms the idea of consolidating its presence in the local market. “First we have to focus our efforts on Spain and, once we have established our activity in the country, we can now think regarding the international market,” explained Gil. The manager aims to step outside of Spain in a minimum period of three years.
Boston distributes its products in the offline channel through its own stores and five corners in El Corte Inglés. Over the coming months, the company plans to expand its presence in department stores.

Through electronic commerce, the company registers a minimum percentage of the total billing and, as explained by the manager, the company notices an increase in sales in the online channel when an opening is carried out at street level, so the company’s plans continue to be reinforced in retail.
The company, which underwent a makeover a few months ago, plans to remodel all its stores to incorporate the new concept. Boston’s goal is to have stores up to date by June.
Boston became part of the Mayoral portfolio in July 2021, when it had a network of 19 establishments. The company was the first project of the children’s fashion group outside of its segment. The men’s fashion chain will hold ten openings a year until 2025 until it has a network of sixty stores.
