Boston College Accepts Pinstripe Bowl Bid, Set to Face Nebraska
Boston College will face Nebraska in the Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 28, marking the Eagles’ eighth bowl appearance in the past nine years.
The game will kick off at noon ET and be broadcast on ABC from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. This year’s contest marks a rematch of the 2003 Emerald Bowl, which Boston College won 20-16.
A Season of Ups and Downs
In new head coach Bill O’Brien’s first year, the Eagles have experienced a rollercoaster ride.
Starting strong, they secured a 4-1 record in the first five weeks, defeating Florida State, Duquesne, Michigan State, and Western Kentucky, with their only loss coming against No. 19 Missouri.
A three-game losing streak during October against Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Louisville eliminated their chances at an ACC Championship and College Football Playoff berth, but the Eagles rebounded, ultimately clinching a bowl bid and finishing 7-5 in the regular season.

**[Alex Reed]:** Honestly, I’m excited to see how the Eagles’ offence matches up against Nebraska’s defence. BC has some explosive playmakers, and if they can get rolling, it’ll be a fun game to watch.
