SUNRISE, Fla. – The Boston Bruins will try to carry their ‘momentum’ into Game 4 once morest the Florida Panthers at FLA Live Arena on Sunday.

Despite the absence of their first two center players – Patrice Bergeron (upper body) and David Krejci (upper body) – the Bruins won 4-2 in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead.
“We saw Boston Bruins hockey,” coach Jim Montgomery said following the win.
On the other side, the Panthers will want to play like they did in the second half of the third period, when they pulled the gap to two goals and got the Bruins on the heels.
“Execution is just one way of talking regarding passing,” coach Paul Maurice said Saturday. Our execution wasn’t there, we didn’t pass the puck well. We put ourselves in bad positions because of those missed passes. It takes a bit of patience in that aspect of our game.”
Here are three things to watch for in Game 4:
1. Present, absent
Krejci did not take part in practice on Saturday and Montgomery indicated that his presence was doubtful for Game 4. It is also possible that Jeremy Swayman be sent in front of the net instead of Linus Ullmarkwho was uncertain of Game 3. He ultimately made 29 saves in the win.
“There’s a possibility we’re going with Jeremy,” Montgomery said. Firstly because he is excellent and secondly because following tomorrow’s match, there will be three days until the next one. »
At the Panthers, the defender Aaron Oakleaf was back on the ice following missing the third period of Game 3. Maurice said a decision on whether to join the lineup would be made just before Sunday’s game. Ekblad did not undergo concussion protocol.
“He felt much better today,” said Maurice. We’re going to need another day like this. »
Maurice has not confirmed the identity of his starting goalkeeper. Alex Lyon was retired from the last game following allowing three goals on 26 shots in 48:32. Bobrovsky, who stopped eight pucks in relief, hadn’t played since March 27.
2. Depth in the center
The Bruins were able to count on a remarkable performance by Charlie Coyle in Game 3. He worked hard in the back end, he scored on a deflection, he was hard to contain in the offensive and defensive zones, he was driving to the net and he was doing the job shorthanded.

Without Bergeron and possibly without Krejci once more, Coyle will still have to take more on his shoulders.
“He’s a special player,” Marchand said of Coyle. He’s big (6-foot-3, 223 pounds) and talented, and he excels in possession of the puck. He had a different strength last night. He wanted to get up in the absence of ‘Bergy’ and ‘Krech’. »
3. Deja vu
It’s nothing new for the Panthers, a team that spent the last few months of the season fighting relentlessly for a playoff berth. The Panthers will therefore have to rely on their experience not to return to Boston on Wednesday being on the brink.
“It’s like the last three months, the feeling following every loss in the last three months,” Maurice said. You watch the videos, you try to make corrections, you rest and you come back strong. I don’t think that’s necessarily an advantage, but we’re not in uncharted territory. We seemed to be at our best in situations where we absolutely had to win. »
