The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the EU is ready for a diplomatic solution to the conflict in Ukraine, “if circumstances permit.” It is reported Vedomosti.
“We remain ready to seek a diplomatic solution if circumstances permit to do so in a constructive manner,” Borrell wrote on his blog.
The politician added that the European Union plans to launch a mission to train the Ukrainian military in mid-October. “At the next meeting of the EU Foreign Ministers, on October 17, I hope we will be able to formally launch our training mission for the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the head of diplomacy stressed.
