Dubai ∙ Not once, not twice, but eight times have there been shootings announcing the arrival of the New Year in the Global Village. The Global Village greets the New Year in a new way, according to the schedules of eight countries, including India.
The first shooting took place at 5pm on New Year’s New Year’s in Australia. The celebration was followed by a fireworks display with Filipinos at 8 pm, with Thailand at 9 pm and Bangladesh at 10 pm.
To celebrate with India at 10.30, to celebrate New Year’s birthday in Pakistan at 11 am and in the UAE at 12 at night. The shooting took place at around one in the morning.
It was to welcome the New Year with the Russians. Along with this, the cartoon-animated character of the Global Village, Waleef traveled to all these countries and celebrated the New Year with them on the big screen.
Dishes from different countries are also available on Food Street. The celebrations will continue until January 8, when Russians celebrate Christmas, officials said.
