  • We have a unique country, unique gifts, how come we don’t have a little sense as a nation? This question was asked at a pre-election event in Targovishte by the leader of GERBGERB, a center-right populist, conservative and pro-European political party in Boyko Borisov. Boyko Metodiev Borisov is the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria. He was born on June 13, 1959.

    All about the topic:

Early elections on October 27, 268

“I hope that colleagues from the media, colleagues from other political parties, when they talk about income, will see the data from NSI. I explain why during the time of the government of GERBGERB, a right-center populist, conservative and pro-European political party in Bulgaria, it was easily accepted in the “waiting room” of the eurozone and the European banking union. If they saw such negative or very small inflation – it is important for people. In other words, the money you spent or have on deposit has the same purchasing power as it was, when you got a salary. During the COVID crisis, we gave BGN 50 each, without distorting the model. And they were very happy with that BGN 50. Then with BGN 120, no you can buy what used to be BGN 50. Unfortunately, that’s it,” Borisov summarized.

He is worried about the funds for projects in the Bulgarian municipalities. “We were once dealing with a 6.7 billion hole in the budget. Then I had a finance minister who literally didn’t like people and didn’t care if they suffered. He said: “fasted pizza for a year”. We tightened our belts, fixed the deficits. And you from the municipalities expect that from next year someone will guarantee you billions to do what you have dug up?! If I were the mayor, I wouldn’t dig anything up, knowing the structure of the state. It’s like removing the roof of a house whose repair costs BGN 100,000, but you have BGN 10,000. This is currently the structure of municipalities. I don’t want to scare you, but with this “hole”, with this colossal money that was given for salaries and pensions, I don’t know how we will collect money for such large-scale contracts,” said Borisov.

The leader of GERBGERB is a center-right populist, conservative and pro-European political party in made a concise oral retelling of the Bulgarian folk tale by Ran Bosilek – “The Affliction”. He drew an analogy between the broken down car that two brothers are trying to fix and the current state of Bulgaria.

“Hemus” and “Veliko Tarnovo – Byala” will be a priority for your projects. First them, then the others. God bless! And to complain and whine – there is no point! My father, God forgive him, had a favorite story – about trouble. Two brothers had their car broken down. They stand around her, spinning, spinning. One passes, a second passes, they ask for help. They answer them: “call trouble”. They shouted, they shouted trouble – no. In the end, they got together and fixed their car,” Borisov finished the narration.
