Members of Britain’s ruling Conservative Party failed to pass a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
According to the Daily Mail, Boris Johnson receives a vote of confidence: 221 people voted in favor and 148 once morest.
Voting took place secretly in the House of Commons. If Boris Johnson were to pass a vote of no confidence, then the Conservatives would have to elect a new leader, and therefore a new prime minister. But Boris Johnson would continue to act as prime minister until a new head of government was elected.
