A concert featuring people engaged in musical activities, with or without disabilities, was held in Naha City.

The Borderless Concert was organized by the Para Artist Management Association, which works to connect people with disabilities and society through the arts, with the aim of realizing a diverse society regardless of whether they have a disability or not.

The concert featured three performers with disabilities, one of whom, Miyagi Sho, a native of the prefecture and currently attending a special needs school for the visually impaired in Tokyo, performed Debussy’s Arabesque No. 1, a piece he had been practicing in the hopes of performing in front of an audience.

Sho Miyagi, who performed, said, “I get nervous (performing). I’m very happy to have a place where I can share my music.” In addition, an art exhibition will be held at another venue, and the works will be sold as stickers and other items using printing machines at convenience stores nationwide.
