China Airlines issued a press release today that the Cebu and Chiang Mai routes have 4 non-stop flights per week, with the latest A321neo aircraft, which will deepen the competitiveness of China Airlines’ Southeast Asia network.

China Airlines Taoyuan-Cebu route will start on December 1st, with a non-stop flight time of 3 hours. The departure flight CI705 takes off at 7:40 a.m. every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and arrives at 10:35 a.m. local time; the return flight CI706 is local Take off at 11:35 am and return to Taoyuan International Airport at 2:30 pm.

The Taoyuan-Chiang Mai route will fly on January 20 next year. The departure flight CI851 will take off at 7:50 am Taiwan time every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and arrive at 11 am local time; the return flight CI852 will take off at 12 noon local time. , arrive at Taoyuan International Airport at 5:00 pm Taiwan time; the time difference between Taoyuan and Chiang Mai is 1 hour.

China Airlines introduced the brand new A321neo aircraft at the end of last year. The cabin is spacious and comfortable, and the entertainment system has a smart remote control function. It is the main aircraft of China Airlines’ regional routes. It can provide 180 seats, including 12 seats in business class and 168 seats in economy class.

China Airlines said that overall passenger flights in the fourth quarter of this year increased by 30%, of which routes to Southeast Asia increased significantly by 50%. In the peak season of the Lunar New Year at the end of January next year, a total of 17 passenger routes in Southeast Asia will operate, providing Taiwan passengers with multiple options for traveling abroad.

China Airlines is also targeting transit opportunities in Taiwan. The flights from Cebu and Chiang Mai can connect major cities in North America and Europe. China Airlines will resume flights and increase the frequency of Southeast Asian destinations to actively seize the source of connecting passengers.
