Bordeaux: they drill a hole in the wall and rob the jewelry store

Their technique is daring. On Sunday, burglars broke through the wall of a jewelry store in Bouscat, in the agglomeration of Bordeaux (Gironde). Between 500,000 and 800,000 euros of jewelry were stolen, indicates the prosecution, quoted by France Blue.

According to the first elements, Sunday morning, the thieves would have pierced the wall of an unoccupied neighboring shop using a mass or a jackhammer. Then they would have cut the electricity to neutralize the CCTV cameras. In a few minutes, the criminals thus got their hands on a very important booty. The alarm went off shortly before 11 a.m.

The Bordeaux prosecutor’s office confirms a “big damage” with the theft of these jewels. The investigation was entrusted to the police of the departmental security.
