Book your bed from now on care • Al Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: The Egyptian doctor Osama Hamdi, professor of internal medicine and diabetes at Harvard University, revealed 9 reasons for the increase in deaths from heart attacks that occur suddenly and at a very young age in Egypt.

Causes of clots

Dr. Osama Hamdi said in a Facebook post, “The causes of clots are: 1- Smoking: whether cigarettes or shisha, smoking destroys the protective membrane of the arteries of the heart and the extremities.” According to Vito.

He continued: “2- High blood cholesterol: Most Egyptians do not know the level of cholesterol in their blood, and if they knew it, they would rarely take continuous treatment.”

High blood pressure and diabetes

He continued, “3- High blood pressure: Despite the high rate of people with high blood pressure in Egypt, the percentage of them treated is still relatively low.”

And he added, “4- Type 2 diabetes: Diabetes is closely related to heart and brain strokes, especially when sugar is irregular, and the cumulative increase is more than 7%.”

Wrong food, lack of movement and sports

He said, “5 – Wrong food: The Egyptians over-eat: meat fats in general, synthetic meats such as luncheon meat, hot dogs, and starches with high sugar coefficients such as sugar, especially in soft drinks, sweets, juices, and hydrogenated oils, such as vegetable ghee, and fast food.

And he added: “6- Lack of movement and sports: The Egyptian people are among the least exercised in the world, especially women. 7- Lack of sleep: Sleeping less than 7 continuous hours, and staying up for a long time, lead to the body’s resistance to insulin, high blood pressure, and obesity.

nervous stress

He added, 8- Nervous pressures at home and at work: Unfortunately, most Egyptians suffer from this. 9- Obesity: The rates of obesity in the Egyptian people are among the highest in the world.

Reserve your bed in the intensive care unit

He concluded by saying: “If you are one of these people, do not blame yourself but yourself.. Book your bed from now in the cardiac intensive care, starting from the age of fifty, and save for the purchase of heart stents, and the replacement of arteries if life is written for you.”
