Startup rewards good drivers with McDonald’s vouchers

Driving consciously can yield much more than safety. Justos, which uses artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technology to offer personalized insurance, launched a new benefit in partnership with McDonald’s: drivers who drive safely accumulate points in the Justos app, which can be converted into vouchers for meals at Méqui.

Fair auto insurance company rewards good drivers who drive well with points that can be exchanged for discount vouchers at McDonald’s

With this new feature, drivers earn rewards that vary depending on their performance. With 3,900 points, for example, it is now possible to redeem a voucher for R$5.00. Other values available include vouchers of R$15.00, R$30.00 and R$50.00. Vouchers can be used as a partial or total form of payment at McDonald’s restaurants, and up to five vouchers can be used per purchase. For comparison, the current price of a Big Mac is R$13.90.

Telemetry analysis

Accumulated points are generated from the assessment of the driver’s driving behavior, evaluated by exclusive telemetry technology. This technology uses cell phone sensors to monitor and evaluate parameters such as acceleration, speed, curves, braking and distraction while driving, with the aim of encouraging safer driving.

On each trip, the driver starts with a score of 100, and loses points as infractions occur or practices that need to be adjusted.

A driver who drives around 700 km per week can accumulate up to 5,900 points just by maintaining good driving behavior, including 1,000 bonus points for completed weekly challenges. This means that, in a week of safe driving, it is now possible to exchange points for a R$5.00 voucher at Méqui.
“We believe that rewarding good traffic behavior is a way of transforming the driving experience into something positive for everyone.

The partnership with McDonald’s is a fun way to further encourage road safety, in addition to delivering direct benefits to our customers,” comments Dhaval Chadha, CEO and founder of Justos.

Since its launch, the Righteous has been transforming the insurance market with its approach based on technology and design. In addition to offering personalized monthly fees, the insurtech rewards conscientious drivers with benefits such as discounts on gasoline through the Km de Vantagens and Shell programs, Livelo points and Uber vouchers.

How to become a Justos customer?

To get started, simply contact a broker or request a quote through the app. New users must pass a driving test, driving at least 80 km with the app activated. Based on this assessment, Justos offers a personalized insurance proposal, where the monthly fee is calculated according to the driver’s performance in traffic.
In addition to paying less on insurance, drivers can transform their good driving into real advantages, such as discount coupons and vouchers for various services.
