For their safety, students and teachers were evacuated to the Sports Hall of the City of Tournai located just opposite the school. “The school administration was informed that a bomb was in the establishment. The students of Sainte-Union were therefore evacuated to the Sports Hall. As a precautionary measure, the students of the Val Itma hotel school, located right next door, were also evacuated,” confirms the mayor of Tournai Paul-Olivier Delannois.
