The Italian coach of Real Madrid is accused of hiding around one million euros in the period 2014-2015, during his first term on the bench of the Merenches.
Ancelotti was also under investigation by the financial police for another case, but had avoided prosecution as no tangible evidence of tax evasion was found. In fact, at that time, the Polynikian coach had admitted that his financial advisors led him to wrong decisions by giving him bad advice.
As noted in the Spanish press reports, Ancelotti had declared the money he received from Real Madrid during the two periods in question (2014 and 2015) but the offense according to the financial authorities is found in the money he received from the rights to his image , which he allegedly did not declare to the Spanish state. Specifically, he is accused of concealing income of 386,000 euros in 2014 and 675,000 euros in 2015.
