According to AFP, on January 25, at least 27 people were killed and many more injured in a bomb attack in central Nigeria.
The victims of the incident were herders in Rukubi, a village on the border between Nasarawa state and Benue, Nigeria. This is also an area with many ethnic tension and religion.

At least 27 people have been identified dead in the incident, local police said bomb explosion and many others were injured. The death toll is likely to increase as the search and rescue operation is underway.”
Eyewitnesses said the explosion was probably carried out by the military air strike.
A spokesman for Nigeria’s air force might not immediately comment on the report, while the incident is under investigation.
