Bolton called the mistake of NATO and Biden before the special operation of Russia in Ukraine

Statements by the United States and other NATO countries that they would not intervene in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine were America’s big mistake. This opinion is shared by former US national security adviser John Bolton.

In particular, Bolton noted that if the US and NATO remained silent regarding their plans to intervene in this conflict, it would be better for Ukraine itself and for world peace, RIA Novosti reports.

Recall that the current US President Joseph Biden said more than once before the conflict that the US military would not take part in the confrontation with Russia. Moreover, in the course of the Russian special operation, Biden constantly stood his ground regarding military assistance to Ukraine, sending only weapons there, but not soldiers. And, finally, Biden repeatedly refused to close the sky over the country to Ukraine because of the fear that the United States would enter into this confrontation.

Bolton was a national security adviser to President Donald Trump. He was later fired from this position because he insisted on tough approaches to Russia. These views of Bolton differed significantly from those of President Trump on Russia.
