that the ChatGPT it can be extremely useful in a variety of cases, everyone knows. Among the common uses is to do searches and generate large amounts of text very quickly with generative artificial intelligence and its LLM language model (Large Language Model). But what if you could integrate such technology into the main macOS apps?

That’s exactly what the BoltAI lets do. With the app, you can trigger commands directly in typing fields of apps of different types, such as notes, writing, email and even programming. To make use of solutions with such integration, it is necessary to grant some permissions to use accessibility features in macOS, in order to make the app work.

After activation, you can trigger BoltAI in three different ways. The first one is using a specific phrase/word, which can be customized. By default are defined:

gpt: for ChatGPT dalle for AI Dall E sd: for Stable Diffusion mj: for OpenJourney

Just type the phrase, write a request, as is done on the ChatGPT website, for example, and press the defined keys to process the command (⌘ command ⇧ shift return, by default).

The second way to use the app is with a “assistant”. There are 36 different ones included in the software, which can play roles, so what would say professionals like pharmacists, comedians, filmmakers, writers, among others, which can be searched by typing /a.

By typing /p, you can search for commands in the BoltAI library, there are 32 of them. After writing the request, just press the chosen keys to trigger a command and the desired text will be generated.

You can also create custom wizardsadjusting the respective behaviors for the desired tasks and roles, such as for transforming texts for a specific writing style.

The third way in which the app can be used is with commands. In this case, just select some text, press the keys to activate the resource (by default, ⌘ spacebar) and select a command. Among the possibilities are explaining the content, improving writing, writing a summary, simplifying or expanding the style, among others.

In addition to these features, there is one more, which is currently in beta: the imaging. Just write the command, using Dall E, OpenJourney or Stable Diffusion, in a text editor where you can paste images and the generated photo will be pasted there. The function is a complete dish for those who want to venture down that path, in addition to being more practical and integrated into macOS.
