Bolivia, Cuba and Nicaragua congratulate Maduro on the election results

He Bolivian President Luis Arce congratulated Nicolás Maduro on Monday for the election resultshighlighting the importance of this date as it coincides with the anniversary of the birth of the late leader Hugo Chávez, seventy years ago.

He added that he had been following the “democratic celebration” in Venezuela “closely” and welcomed the fact that “the will of the Venezuelan people at the polls has been respected.”

The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canelalso expressed his “warm congratulations» to Maduro, calling the electoral victory a “triumph of dignity».

In his message on X, Díaz-Canel said that “The dignity and courage of the Venezuelan people triumphed over pressures and manipulations«.

He also reaffirmed Cuba’s commitment to the Bolivarian Revolution and the government.I convey to brother President @NicolasMaduro our warm congratulations for this historic victory and #Cuba’s commitment to stand alongside the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution.”

The President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortegaand his wife and vice president, Rosario Murillo, also extended their congratulations to Nicolás Maduro on his re-election.

In a letter released shortly after the first CNE bulletin, Ortega and Murillo said: “Dear comrade and brother Nicolás: In full revolutionary and evolutionary brotherhood, from this blessed and always free Nicaragua, our usual embrace, saluting the great victory that this heroic people delivers to the eternal commander (Hugo Chávez), on his birthday.”

They concluded with a message of solidarity and celebration: “To you, Nicolás President, to Cilia (Flores), to the PSUV (United Socialist Party of Venezuela), to the youth, and to all Venezuelan families, our homage and greetings, in honor, glory and for more victories. Always beyond! Peace is!”

For their part, the governments of China, Russia and Iran, which are close to Nicolás Maduro’s regime, also congratulated the Venezuelan for the election result.

«I would like to reiterate our willingness to continue our constructive work on the current bilateral and international agenda. Remember that you are always welcome on Russian soil.“,” said Russian President Vladimir Putin, congratulating Maduro.

In the same line, China congratulated the country for a “successful holding” of elections and re-election of Nicolás Maduro, after the National Electoral Council (CNE) of Venezuela announced his victory in the elections held this Sunday.

Like Russia, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian recalled that China and Venezuela are “good friends and partners who support each other.”
